Marketplace
NFT marketplace on Bittensor EVM
Secondary trading for collections launched on Elevate. Non-custodial by design: sellers sign listings for free and keep their tokens, buyers pay when they buy, offers are escrowed on-chain, and creator royalties are paid on every sale.
What it does
Listings
Sellers sign an EIP-712 listing off-chain — no gas. The token stays in the seller's wallet until someone buys.
Offers
Buyers place on-chain offers with TAO held in escrow. Sellers accept with one transaction; unaccepted offers are withdrawable.
Escrow
Offer funds are held by the marketplace contract, never by Elevate, and can only be withdrawn by the buyer who placed them.
Royalties
ERC-2981 royalties are read from the collection contract and paid to the creator on every sale.
Gas model
Sellers pay a one-time approval per collection; buyers pay gas at purchase; offerers pay gas to place and cancel.
Collection pages
Each collection's marketplace page shows listings, offers and activity alongside the same on-chain facts as its launchpad page.
Ownership
Ownership changes are on-chain transfers on Bittensor EVM, visible on the explorer the moment a sale settles.
How a sale settles
- Buyer accepts a listing, or seller accepts an offer
- Contract verifies the listing signature or the escrowed offer
- Creator royalty paid (ERC-2981)
- Marketplace fee paid (capped at 10%)
- Remainder to seller; token to buyer — one transaction
For creators
Your collection trades on the Elevate marketplace as soon as you unlock transfers. Royalties are enforced without any action from you, and the transfer lock lets you decide when secondary trading starts — after the mint, after the reveal, or later.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the marketplace custodial?
- No. Tokens stay in the seller's wallet until a sale settles, and escrowed offer funds can only be withdrawn by the buyer who placed them.
- Does listing cost gas?
- No. A listing is an EIP-712 signature. The only seller-side gas is a one-time approval per collection.
- Are creator royalties enforced?
- Yes. Every sale on the Elevate marketplace reads the collection's ERC-2981 royalty and pays it automatically before the seller receives the remainder.
- What is the marketplace fee?
- A percentage of each sale, capped at 10% by the contract. It cannot be raised above the cap.
- Can I trade a collection whose transfers are locked?
- Not until the creator unlocks transfers. Listings and offers for locked collections cannot settle.
- Which collections can be traded?
- Collections launched on Elevate, once their creator has unlocked transfers.
