Getting Started
Getting Started with Elevate
Quick answer
To mint on Elevate you need an EVM wallet with Bittensor EVM (chain ID 964) added, and TAO on the EVM side of Bittensor. Then connect, open a collection and confirm the transaction.
Elevate is a curated NFT launchpad on Bittensor EVM. Collections are reviewed before they list, each one mints from its own ERC-721A contract, and payment is in TAO straight from your wallet — there is no custodial step between you and the artwork.
Who this is for
Collectors who have never used Bittensor EVM, and anyone who wants the shortest path to a first mint.
What you need
- An EVM wallet such as MetaMask or Rabby, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet.
- The Bittensor EVM network (chain ID 964) added to that wallet.
- TAO on Bittensor EVM — enough for the mint price plus a small amount of gas.
- For allowlist phases, a wallet address the collection has approved.
The four steps
- Add Bittensor EVM to your wallet
- Bridge TAO to your 0x address
- Connect your wallet on Elevate
- Choose a collection and mint
What makes Elevate different
Creators apply and are reviewed — team, artwork originality and contract integrity — before anything goes live. Approved collections deploy to a contract named after the collection so it can be verified on the explorer, and the supply and mint counts shown on every page are read from that contract rather than from a database.
Common mistakes
- Sending TAO from an exchange straight to a 0x address without checking the exchange supports Bittensor EVM withdrawals. Use the bridge unless the exchange explicitly supports the EVM side.
- Being on the wrong network. Your wallet must show Bittensor EVM, not Ethereum, when you sign.
- Approving a transaction from a link in a DM. Only mint from elevateart.xyz and verify the contract address on the explorer.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need a special wallet for Bittensor EVM?
- No. Any wallet that works with Ethereum works with Bittensor EVM once the network is added. Your existing 0x address is your Bittensor EVM address.
- Is minting on Elevate custodial?
- No. The mint is a transaction your wallet signs and sends to the collection contract. Elevate never holds your funds or keys.
- How much TAO do I need?
- The phase price per NFT times the quantity, plus the collection's platform mint fee, plus a small amount of gas. The collection page shows the current phase price read from the contract.
